If you are curious about sustainable finance and want to learn more about its principles, products and practices, you might be interested in taking the French AMF certified sustainable finance exam. This exam is designed for sales professionals who need to understand the institutional and economic context of sustainable finance, as well as the key concepts and methods involved, so that they can advise their clients according to their ESG preferences.

This exam is not mandatory, but it is a valuable addition to the AMF exam on the minimum knowledge content. It is also open to anyone who wants to prove their basic knowledge in this field.

How is the training organised ?

The training is organised online, but NORALP can also offer on-site training if you prefer. The training is tailored to your specific needs and interests. The training follows the AMF’s guidelines for the exam, which you can find in Annex 1 of the AMF Instruction- DOC 2021-031.

What are the objectives of the Sustainable Finance training offered by NORALP?

This course will help you get ready for the AMF Sustainable Finance exam, which tests your professional knowledge of the financial market players according to the AMF General Regulation Articles 312-5, 318-9, 321-39 and 325-36.

You will also learn about the basics of sustainable finance, why it matters and what it can achieve. Moreover, you will gain a general understanding of the institutional and economic environment of sustainable finance, as well as the main concepts, products and methods used to assess and meet your clients’ ESG preferences.

NORALP is authorised by the French AMF since February 1, 2022 under the licence number  FD-5 pour faire passer l'examen AMF Finance durable.

NORALP has the QUALIOPI certification.

How the exam is conducted ?

The exam is conducted online and lasts 90 minutes. It consists of 60 questions drawn at random from the examination database provided by the AMF.

To take the exam, you must be registered and identified to the supervision module three working days before the scheduled exam date.

You must present yourself at the beginning of the exam with a valid ID. Your computer must have the proctoring application installed and must have a camera and microphone turned on for the duration of the exam. At the beginning of the exam you will be asked to take a 360° view of your working environment with your phone.

After the examen?

You need to get at least 48 questions right out of 60 to pass the exam.

You will get your results and certificate by email within three working days after the exam. NORALP will validate your results before sending them to you.
